Setup is five steps, about a day's work. Finish it within 30 days and the clock starts there.
Choose your term
One annual price, invoiced annually. Your first year takes 10% off — your first month free. A three-year term takes 10% off and five years 15% off, with your price held for every funded year.
One discount applies, not two: the first-year discount or the term discount, whichever is better for you. Nothing renews automatically and no card is kept on file.
Built for how a public body buys
Order by purchase order and invoice, with no card charge and no automatic renewal. A multi-year term commits nothing beyond your current fiscal year — every year is subject to your own appropriation, and you can fund out.
Tell us when your fiscal year ends and your renewal paperwork arrives before your budget is adopted, not after. We can align your first term to your fiscal year end so renewal and appropriation fall together from then on.
Order by invoice or PO
Net terms and your PO number appear on the invoice, which can be paid by card, bank transfer (ACH) or check.
Federal procurement thresholds (micro-purchase $15,000; simplified acquisition $350,000) apply to federal awards; Michigan townships set their own purchasing thresholds by policy. Invoice and purchase-order ordering is available on every term.
Customize Options
Everything in the six jobs is already included. Nothing here is a part of the product held back — each item below either connects to a system your own organization runs, or costs real money every time it runs. Keeping them separate is what stops a handful of heavy users raising the price for everyone else. Most customers never add any of them, and the product is complete without them.
How to add one later. You do not decide at purchase. Any of these can be switched on at any time from Setup › Subscription inside the product: you ask for it there, we confirm the price for your size, and it starts on your next invoice — prorated if you are mid-term. Nothing is charged when you ask, and no new contract is needed; the Order Form is amended. You can drop one at any renewal.
Planning & Analysis
Master plan and zoning documents, cited Project Fit Analysis and fiscal-impact models. Heavier AI use, which is why it is priced separately.
When you need it. You need it if you review site plans, rezonings or variances and want the analysis cited against your own master plan and zoning text. If planning review is somebody else’s job, you do not need it.
GIS Connect
Your ArcGIS and GeoJSON layers as evidence on the map and on each business.
When you need it. You need it only if your organization already runs ArcGIS and wants its own layers shown as evidence. It requires somebody in your IT or GIS team to grant access.
Enterprise Access
Single sign-on, two-way calendar sync, the organization API and webhooks.
When you need it. You need it if your IT department requires single sign-on, or you want BRE Pulse connected to another system you run. Smaller offices generally do not.
Research & Watch
Online research on a business, and public agendas and notices watched on a schedule. Runs whether or not anyone is looking, which is why it is priced separately.

Network roll-up
Partner organizations on shared cases, and roll-up reporting for counties, regions and states. Each member organization beyond five is $500/yr.

Self-launch
Everything you need to get running on your own: a setup checklist, import from your spreadsheet or CSV with duplicate checks, a practice demo organization, and administrator guidance inside the product.
Launch Assist
Never required. A fixed-scope, scheduled engagement for organizations that want help. Custom-quoted; any on-site travel is billed separately.
