For utilities, electric cooperatives and authorities
You serve businesses across many jurisdictions and you learn about expansions when the load request arrives. BRE Pulse gives a utility or authority its own business universe across its service territory, the same check-in businesses already trust, and a way to share an expansion case with the municipality and the county without handing over your customer record.
Network package arriving The platform models these organizations today; the Network package (partner sharing, upward roll-up) is in progress.
Problems you already recognize
Load requests arrive after the decision
You hear about the expansion when engineering gets the service request, not when the business started planning it.
Your territory crosses many governments
Each municipality has its own zoning, permits and staff. Coordinating one expansion means five phone calls.
Customer data cannot leave the utility
Confidentiality and regulatory rules keep the customer record inside. Partners need the project, not the account.
The BRE (Business Retention & Expansion) use case
A utility runs BRE Essentials for its service territory (a custom service area of the municipalities it serves). Expansion signals from check-ins become cases; the Network package shares a case with the municipality and county under organization-specific permissions, with the utility's private fields withheld. Upward reporting gives the utility's board aggregate counts, never a customer name.
